Ex- NFL Player Antonio Brown Enters Innocent Plea in Murder Attempt Case
Ex- National Football League wide receiver Antonio Brown is heading to Miami to address an attempted murder allegation connected with a shooting that happened in May, with his counsel entering a not guilty plea on his behalf.
Detention documents in Essex, New Jersey, indicate that Brown was freed on Tuesday early for his transfer to Florida. Brown, one of the most popular figures in the National Football League, had waived transfer to Florida from New Jersey, where he was held after being arrested in Dubai.
Brown’s lawyer, Mark Eiglarsh, said in an communication that he has earlier submitted a formal not guilty response to the attempted murder allegation. Brown could be in a Miami hearing as soon as Wednesday early for a bail proceeding, Eiglarsh stated.
According to his apprehension order, Brown is accused of grabbing a pistol from a protection staffer after a star match bout in May and firing a couple of bullets at a man he had clashed with previously. The claimed victim, Zul-Qarnain Kwame Nantambu, told investigators that a bullet grazed his nape.
