I'll overwhelm 'legitimate boxer' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua
The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be streamed live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Former twice unified title holder Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
Despite these statements, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British opponent Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
